18.000 firmas contra el 'Toro Jubilo'

PACMA presentará este jueves, 28 de octubre, 18.000 firmas en nombre de FAACE (Fight Against Animal Cruelty in Europe), en la Delegación Territorial de la Junta de Castilla y León en Soria, como protesta por el festejo denominado ‘Toro Jubilo’, cuya celebración se remonta al siglo XVI.

Por desgracia vivo un país donde el maltrato animal esta a la orden del dia. Soy de España, Catalunya, y voy a apoyar a PACMA en todo lo que pueda, ni que sea haciendo publicaciones en el facebook para conseguir algun voto mas. Algun dia lo conseguiremos. Pero las mentes retorcidas i conservadoras son muy difíciles de cambiar.

Me da lástima que gente de todas partes vea estas cosas tan horribles que se hacen en este país,no solo con los toros, sino con todo tipo de animales,en granjas, en perreras... Es una verguenza...

Indeed, as Catherine turley says - the 18,146 signatures were NOT collected by an organisation with the membership and means to do so. They were gathered by a few ordinary people in various countries, who had read of the atrocity of the Toro Jubilo, been so horrified and distressed that they could not put it out of their minds, and worked their hearts out informing as many people as they could, and collecting these signatures Without exception, everyone was equally as disbelieving and horrified, and when shown the video, were moved to add their efforts - and so it spread. Where a year ago, virtually no-one in our respective countries had heard of Toro Jubilo, or Medinaceli, now more than 18,000 certainly have,with revulsion and disgust. I say more, because very few of my own family and friends are actually on the internet, so were unable to sign the petition - but all certainly share the horror! And I'm sure this is so for many of us.Knowing that this terrible thing is going to happen again on November 13 beggars belief - normal decent people simply cannot comprehend how such an abomination is possible, in the 21st century, in a country which is a member of the EU!

Azqueroso comportamiento de los dis que humanos hacia los animales y inaceptable que los gobiernos permitan estas crueldades es que acaso se volvieron locos de maldad????????????????????????
